Boston-based law firm Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge has launched a new European patent practice based at its London office. The new venture will operate as a separate U.K. limited liability partnership called EAPD Innovations and will be headed up by Candi Soames, who joins the firm as a partner from patent firm D Young & Co. EAPD Innovations will focus on the biotechnology and life sciences sectors. The firm launched in London earlier this year after a merger with Kendall Freeman.
