Former U.S. Department of Justice official Jeffrey Clark will face a District of Columbia bar committee hearing this week on ethics charges stemming from his alleged role in Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election results.

The D.C. Office of Disciplinary Counsel has accused Clark of attempting to engage in conduct involving dishonesty and that would interfere with the administration of justice, through his attempt to send a letter to Georgia lawmakers declaring the DOJ found “irregularities” in the state’s election results.
