George Triantis, the Charles J. Meyers Professor of Law and Business at Stanford, has been named dean of Stanford Law School, the university announced Tuesday.
Triantis, also a senior associate vice provost for research at the university, succeeds Paul Brest, who has been serving as interim dean since Jan. 1 following the departure of Robert Weisberg. Weisberg served as interim dean of SLS for three months until he stepped down due to his health.
