Q&A: The State of Adult-Use Cannabis in Ohio

More than three months ago, Ohio became the 24th state to legalize adult-use marijuana in the United States after 57% of voters approved Issue 2. The future of recreational sales in the Buckeye State remains hazy, however, as state lawmakers continue to float possible changes to the voter-approved initiated statute.

To find out what's going on with Ohio cannabis, I recently spoke with Thomas Haren, the chair of Frantz Ward's cannabis group who also served as spokesperson for the campaign to pass Issue 2. Our conversation is edited for length and clarity.
