LGBTQ+ law students and allies at Samford University’s Cumberland of School Law have been fighting for the past year to have an official LGBTQ+ organization on campus but got formally denied by the parent school in late October.

Al.com broke the news last week, reporting that Samford University denied the student application from the law school group, called “OUTLaw.”
