A federal judge in Arizona denied an attempt by two students to join their action with a certified class over Grand Canyon University’s refusal to refund partial costs of room and board for the spring 2020 semester, according to an order issued in the case.

Seth Hannibal-Fisher and David Tran moved to consolidate their pending case with Carson Little’s certified class, which represents “all students enrolled in on-campus classes at Grand Canyon University for the Spring of 2020 semester” who were charged and paid fees for university services not provided. According to the order, both Little and the university opposed the motion, brought in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona.
