A federal judge in Maryland has denied a motion for summary judgment brought by a Florida-based distributor seeking to recover $1.05 million for delivery of more than 500,000 KN-95 at the height of the pandemic.

On April 30, 2020, Potomac Valley Home Medical received a purchase order from the State of Maryland for personal protective equipment including 10 million KN-95 masks, according to a memorandum issued in the case. Potomac, in turn, placed an order for 4 million masks from Frozen Wheels, a Florida-based distribution and warehousing company.
