Rodney Smolla, who has been dean of Widener University Delaware Law School since 2015, will become president and dean of Vermont Law School effective July 1.
Beth McCormack became interim president and dean of VLS in January 2021, the first woman to hold the position. McCormack had been serving as vice dean for students since 2017 at Vermont Law, having joined the faculty in 2011, according to Rosenblatt’s Deans Database and VLS’s website.
