Justice Clarence Thomas, whose wife is embroiled in controversy over her post-election activities, was discharged from the hospital earlier today after treatment for an infection, according to the Supreme Court.

Thomas, 73, was admitted to Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., on March 18 after suffering flulike symptoms. He was treated with intravenous antibiotics, according to the court.
