The District of Columbia, represented by law firms Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison and Dechert, among others, is suing the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers and dozens of the groups’ members over their involvement in the Jan. 6 riot. 

The district contends the two groups, in an attempt to overturn the election results, conspired to terrorize D.C. by coordinating the storming of the Capitol, resulting in physical and psychological injuries to responding officers.
