Jack Tuholske, the innovator of place-based legal education at Vermont Law School, learned his legacy would live on before he died last year following a lengthy illness.

Vermont Law School’s Environmental Law Center has launched the Tuholske Institute for Environmental Field Studies, a program that aims to better prepare law students to advance environmental protection and justice through place-based experiential education opportunities.
