Morgan Ratner, former assistant to the U.S. solicitor general for the last four years, is joining Sullivan & Cromwell’s Supreme Court and appellate practice.

Ratner, a summa cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School and a former clerk to Chief Justice John Roberts Jr. in the 2013 term, will be special counsel in the practice headed by Jeffrey Wall, former acting U.S. solicitor general and principal deputy solicitor general during the Trump administration.
