Michael Gilligan, a mergers and acquisitions partner at Schulte Roth & Zabel, has left the firm to join Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr in New York.
Gilligan, who represents private equity funds and multinationals in complex transactions, joined Wilmer on Tuesday as the firm seeks to expand its private equity and corporate practice. For Schulte, Gilligan’s move represents at least the fifth partner exit from the financial services-focused firm this year.
