Corporate legal department leaders want to see an end to the billable hour.
That was the main message from several in-house leaders who spoke on a panel discussion during the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium’s Global Institute on Monday. While the lawyers spoke about the challenges of getting law firms away from the billable hour, they also outlined how they’ve achieved successful alternative fee arrangements with law firms.
