‘Dress-down Friday’ has now become ‘dress-down everyday’, with relaxed work attire a common feature of video calls. But should partners hang up their suits for good?

“In all my Zoom meetings — and I’ve had hundreds — no one is wearing a suit and no one is wearing a tie”, says a partner at a U.K. top 50 firm. “Maybe a casual button down shirt, but equally people are wearing polo tops too”.
