For millennials or young attorneys getting their start out of law school, there are more career options scattered throughout the legal ecosystem than ever before. Whether it’s law firms, alternate legal service providers, in-house legal departments, the Big Four or even a legal tech company, fresh-faced law talent has its pick of options when charting a career path.
However, it may be the traditional law firm path that still holds the most appeal to younger professionals, even as the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is causing corporate legal departments and others to rethink their preference for full-time, seasoned attorneys.
