The overwhelming majority of aspiring in-house leaders are white, according to a new report that examines the types of corporate counsel who dream of taking over as the chief lawyer of their company.
Nearly 70% of the 291 aspiring general counsel who took part in BarkerGilmore’s online survey in July identified as white, compared with 10% who identified as Black, 10% who identified as Asian and 7% who identified as Hispanic or Latino.
