Thousands of law firms, including several directly affiliated with President Donald Trump, received hundreds of thousands of dollars, or millions in some cases, from the federal government’s coronavirus loan program, newly released data show.

Overall, the average Paycheck Protection Program loan was $107,000, and the Small Business Administration, which administered the program, said the effort helped to support more than 51 million jobs across an array of industries.
