Texas trial lawyer Stephen Susman, 79, founder of Susman Godfrey, was injured in a cycling accident in Houston on April 22 and remains hospitalized in Houston.
Susman, an avid cyclist, was riding in the Old Braeswood area of Houston on the morning of April 22, when his tire hit a crack in the road and he was thrown from the bike, said Neal Manne, a managing partner of Susman Godfrey.
"In a freak accident, his front tire went into one of those seams [in the road] and locked. His momentum threw him over the bike. He had a good helmet on, but the way he landed, he hit his head very hard," Manne said Wednesday.
