MUSICAL CHAIRS – Just as Kannon Shanmugam has decamped from Williams & Connolly to launch a Supreme Court and appellate practice at Paul Weiss, Lisa Blatt has jumped in to head the SCOTUS practice at Williams & Connolly from Arnold & Porter. Dan Packel reports that Shanmugam also will serve as a leader of Paul Weiss’ D.C. office. Jenna Greene reports that Blatt has argued 37 cases before the U.S. Supreme Court—more than any other woman—and returns to Williams & Connolly, where she worked for three years starting in 1990.
