Law Firm Accused of Spamming Client's Investors to Garner Business
A video game company is suing its lawyers, claiming they used its list of investors to try to drum up work for the firm by e-mail -- some of it spam. Skyworks Ventures alleges that Scarola Ellis breached its fiduciary duty by using the company's confidential and proprietary information for its own benefit and that it engaged in breach of contract by overbilling.
