Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft may have found a way to help more U.S. companies use corporate inversions to lower their tax bills. Salix Pharmaceuticals has retained the firm, as well as Covington & Burling and leading Irish shop A&L Goodbody, for its $2.7 billion acquisition of patents to gastrointestinal drugs owned by an Irish unit of Italy's Cosmo Pharmaceuticals.
