Hyde, who was accused of misconduct by a state judicial watchdog, was rated along with dozens of other Alameda County judges in a survey that was made public Tuesday.

The survey offers a snapshot of how judges are viewed by the attorneys who appear before them. The inch-thick report rates federal and bankruptcy judges in the East Bay, as well those on the Alameda County Superior Court bench. The bar association polled more than 2,000 active members, and 258 lawyers who have appeared before the judges within the past 24 months responded.
