ALM has been following the twists and turns of a complex administrative hearing between Google Inc. and the federal government. Taking place in San Francisco’s Office of Administrative Law Judges, the hearing involves Google and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, or OFCCP. Google is defending itself against claims that it did not fully comply with OFCCP’s audit of employee compensation data.
The whole affair was stalled on the first day of the hearing, and administrative judge Steven Berlin, who is presiding over the hearing, has shot down Google’s attempts to throw out the complaint.
