SAN FRANCISCO — A group of Japanese capacitor manufacturers have reached a $32.6 million deal to settle out of claims that they fixed prices for the electronic component.

The peace pact reached by Fujitsu Ltd., NEC Tokin Corp., Nitsuko Electronics Corp., Okaya Electric Industries Co. and Rohm Co. is the first settlement in the civil antitrust case filed by San Francisco attorney Joseph Saveri in 2014.
