SAN FRANCISCO — Google Inc. co-founder Larry Page may have been the star witness on Thursday in the blockbuster copyright case between Oracle Corp. and Google. But the courtroom clock was his co-star.

Page, now the CEO of Google parent company Alphabet Inc., took the stand on the last day of witness testimony in the first phase of the case, which centers on Google’s fair-use defense. Closing arguments are set for Monday morning.
