It appears Uber’s arbitration agreement is finally road ready. The lead plaintiff in what had been a putative class action has shifted course, agreeing to pursue claims in arbitration.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Maria-Elena James of the Northern District of California on Tuesday approved an agreement that the driver, Kimberly Berger, will individually arbitrate her claims that the ride-hailing company misled drivers about promotional fares.
