One of the originators of a ground-breaking copyright class action against Sirius XM Radio is now seeking to extend the theory to broadcast stations.

A plaintiffs team led by McKool Smith partner Robert Allen sued Cumulus Media Inc., CBS Corp., and iHeartMedia Inc. in Los Angeles federal court, claiming hundreds of millions in unpaid royalties on music recorded before 1972 and delivered over the airwaves as well as via the Internet.
