SAN FRANCISCO — As the Bingham McCutchen “mass lateral” contingent prepares to join Morgan, Lewis & Bockius by month’s end, other partners are beginning to find new homes. Partner Frank Kaplan and of counsel Ken Meyers joined Blank Rome in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The Morgan Lewis deal may have presented conflicts for Kaplan and Meyers. The two have handled litigation for a number of insurance companies, including American Insurance Group Inc., Chartis, CNA and American International Specialty Lines Insurance Co. Morgan Lewis has a large insurance policyholder practice.
