SAN FRANCISCO — Finjan Inc., a cybersecurity patent licensing company, has been a busy litigant in the Northern District of California. In the past two years, Finjan has wielded its patents related to computer network security against Symantec Corp., Fireeye Inc., Blue Coat Systems Inc., Sophos Inc., Websense Inc., and Proofpoint Inc.

On Tuesday Palo Alto Networks became the latest Silicon Valley cybersecurity firm to face patent infringement claims from the NPE.
