OAKLAND — A jury’s verdict has done little to quell the bickering between two arch enemies in the website translation business.

Jurors handed a $1 million award to TransPerfect Global Inc. in July, finding that its rival, MotionPoint Corp., stepped on its patent by using a single-action translation button on its website. But MotionPoint has rebounded to fight a post-verdict battle over TransPerfect’s request for a permanent injunction.
