SAN FRANCISCO — Nvidia's groundbreaking class action settlement over faulty laptop and notebook computer chips is going to sail through the Ninth Circuit, and Milberg's $13 million fee award appears to be safe, based on oral arguments Tuesday.

"This is actually a fairly generous settlement for those people who get the settlement," Judge Susan Graber told one of two attorneys representing a handful of objectors Tuesday before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
