SAN FRANCISCO — One day before a scheduled hearing on Facebook Inc.’s settlement agreement over its “Sponsored Stories” feature, U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh recused herself.

Koh canceled the hearing in an order Wednesday without explaining why she was giving Fraley v. Facebook, 11-cv-01726-LHK, to another judge after presiding over it since the suit was filed in April 2011.
