SAN FRANCISCO Governor Jerry Brown announced the appointment of 15 superior court judges Friday, including three in the Bay Area and eight in Los Angeles County.
Judy Johnson, the longtime State Bar executive director, was appointed to the Contra Costa County bench. Allison Danner, an assistant U.S. attorney in the Northern District since 2007, and Mary Greenwood, Santa Clara County’s chief public defender since 2005, will take the bench in Santa Clara Superior Court.
