SACRAMENTO — Call it an Occupy movement with wing tips and dinner reservations. California’s attorneys will be hitting the streets in protest on Jan. 18.

A group of trial lawyers and politicos have organized a rally near the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles that day to decry the severe budget cuts that have chipped away at court operations statewide in recent years. (Leave the gas masks at home; organizers say they’ve obtained a permit for the Grand Avenue event.)
