SACRAMENTO — The state Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected legal challenges to California’s new political maps, marking a significant victory for Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, which guided the fledgling Citizens Redistricting Commission in its line-drawing this year.
Without comment, the unanimous court denied Republican-backed petitions attacking the validity of new state Senate and congressional maps.
