NetSuite is a company that puts business software in the cloud for businesses of all sizes, including recently signed customers Qualcomm and Groupon. (For anyone living under a rock, “the cloud” is software and related services that live exclusively on the Internet.) San Mateo, Calif.-based NetSuite offers cloud-based enterprise resource planning, accounting, customer relationship management, and eCommerce software for midsize businesses and large enterprises. NetSuite (NYSE: N) reported first-quarter 2011 revenues of $53.4 million, up 21 percent from a year before.
