SAN FRANCISCO — A federal magistrate judge has ordered the former general counsel of Juniper Networks Inc. to answer questions from the Securities and Exchange Commission about her role in an alleged $900 million stock option backdating scheme.
Northern District Magistrate Judge Howard Lloyd told Lisa Berry on Monday to describe in detail discussions that she’d had with former board members and executives, auditors from Ernst & Young, and lawyers at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati about the process of dating option grants at Juniper.
