SAN FRANCISCO — Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher advised Los Angeles private equity fund Shamrock Capital in its acquisition of Screenvision from ITV, a U.K.-based broadcaster, and Technicolor.

ITV will receive $80 million in cash for the percent it owns while Technicolor will receive $60 million and retain an 18.8 percent interest in the company. As part of the deal, Screenvision, which sells on-screen theater advertising, entered into a long-term exhibition agreement with Carmike Cinemas, which received a 20 percent stake in the company.
