SAN FRANCISCO — In case there was any doubt, Tani Cantil-Sakauye can look forward to an easy confirmation hearing Wednesday on her way to becoming the next chief justice of California, based on documents released today.

The Third District Court of Appeal justice won a glowing review from the State Bar’s Commission on Judicial Nominees Evaluation, which found her “exceptionally well-qualified” to become leader of the state’s judiciary.
