SAN FRANCISCO — Burke, Williams & Sorensen is planning to open an office in Oakland with 12 public law attorneys from McDonough Holland & Allen. John Welsh, Burke, Williams’ managing partner, said McDonough partners Michelle Kenyon, Gerald Ramiza and Benjamin Stock are among the lawyers who have agreed to join. The moves are effective Sept. 1.

Separately, Hanson Bridgett public law partner Thomas Brown will also be joining the firm in Oakland, Welsh said.
