SAN FRANCISCO — A team of lawyers from Dewey & LeBoeuf ‘s Palo Alto office helped represent Japan-based Sanyo Semiconductor Co. in its acquisition by ON Semiconductor Corp.

ON Semiconductor, a Phoenix-based manufacturer of chips for various sectors, including automotive, agreed to pay about $366 million in cash and stock for Sanyo, a subsidiary of Sanyo Electric.
