Thomas Duley has joined DLA Piper as of counsel in the San Francisco and Palo Alto offices. Duley, who previously served as senior corporate counsel and head of the transactional legal group at PDL BioPharma Inc., handles a variety of intellectual property transactions for life sciences companies. He received his J.D. from UC-Davis School of Law in 1995.

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius has added Kimberley Reeder as a partner in Palo Alto. Reeder, who previously served as a tax principal at KPMG and the partner-in-charge of state and local tax for the Bay Area Business Unit, is a member of the tax controversy and consulting practice. She graduated from University of North Carolina School of Law in 1998.
