Two California courthouses will soon bear the names of two former state Supreme Court justices, including one who just left office this year.

The Judicial Council on Tuesday voted to name the new, still-under-construction superior court building in downtown Sacramento for Tani Cantil-Sakauye, the former chief justice who retired in January after a 32-year career in the judiciary.
