A Big Law associate was among 10 people killed in a floatplane crash north of Seattle over the holiday weekend.

Gabrielle Hanna, described as a joyful, endearing colleague and “burgeoning star” at Cooley, where she was about to enter her fifth year as an associate, died in a plane crash Sunday in the Puget Sound that took the lives of every passenger aboard.
