Former Coinbase Inc. chief legal officer and ex-financial regulator Brian Brooks has taken over as CEO of Bitcoin mining giant Bitfury.
San Francisco-based Brooks joins the crypto tech company following a brief stint as CEO of crypto exchange Binance.US. He resigned after about three months on the job, writing on Twitter that he quit because of “differences over strategic direction.”
