California will administer the February bar exam in person for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began, following reports of widespread technical problems with the most recent online version of the exam.

The California Supreme Court on Wednesday announced in an order that the exam will take place in person Feb. 22-23, “subject to any restrictions that may be imposed by any state or local public health orders in effect on those dates.”
