One of the most unsettling realities of the pandemic has been adjusting to living with constant uncertainty. With lingering questions about office reopening dates and how operations will work moving forward, Brian Donnelly, managing partner of Farella Braun + Martel, said the firm reminded team members that this isn’t the first rough patch the firm has weathered.

“We assured people that over our 60-year history, we, like every other firm, have had some really good times and some bad times, but we’ve always come out of the bad times, and we’re certainly positioned to do that this year—as much as we were in the midst of the beginning of the pandemic,” he said. “It was hard for people to see that, but I think that was comforting and eventually people saw that we could operate effectively.”
