Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani partner Don Willenburg and senior counsel Christine M. Wheatley have stepped in to defend the National Association of Secretaries of State in a pending lawsuit arising from efforts to flag disinformation related to the 2020 election. The suit was filed June 17 in California Central District Court by Dhillon Law Group and the Center for American Liberty on behalf of Florida-based attorney and conservative influencer Rogan O’Handley, who uses the social media handle ‘DC Draino.’ The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald, is 2:21-cv-04954, Rogan O Handley v. Alex Padilla et al.
