Cooley is making a series of hires in its life sciences and public companies practices, bringing in a U.S. Food and Drug Administration veteran in Washington, D.C., and White & Case and Fenwick & West dealmakers in New York.

Sonia Wadhwa Nath has joined the firm after nearly 12 years as an enforcement attorney at the FDA, most recently serving as senior counsel in the Office of the Chief Counsel. Rupa Briggs had been a partner at White & Case since late 2018. Nicolas Dumont had been counsel at Fenwick & West.
